Empathetic Educators
I have started to create this Preventative Planning Programme based around the Characteristics of Agency to enable the teachers to adapt/change their planning to empower the learners. I feel it is important to build an awareness to become empathetic towards our learners and the pathways we can initiate to empower them through empowering ourselves.

This is the key goal that I am trying to achieve as part of my Preventative Planning Programme because by planning for the visuals, resources and intentional questioning I believe learners can access higher level thinking and abstract concepts. By using these resources I have seen my learners drive their own learning. I feel educators need to empathise with their learner's cognitive needs and plan resources that will enable them to be agentic and take action independently instead of relying on support to achieve their goal for the lesson.
